Hello

In 2023, after many years of helping lead community engagement events across the country, it was time to help make a difference in my home community. Just what that meant exactly was still to be determined, but it was after a group event where 400 Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwiches were made for a local shelter who did not serve food on a Sunday, the seed was planted on how we might make a difference. If a small group could put together close to 10,000 sandwiches in a couple of years, what might happen if a business or group become engaged. And not only with our little sandwich making venture, but in knowing more about the effects of food insecurity in their backyard, or knowing that their quiet little community have children going to bed hungry every night, or that food pantries have people lining up before sunrise to make sure they are able to bring food home. The need to help a few with a quick meal, turned in to the need to tell many, and with the help of some amazing and inspirational volunteers, FNTNE was born. Join us in making a difference.
